Scheduled and major repairs of turbochargers by ABB (Switzerland) were carried out at four power centers located in the Chelyabinsk region. As part of the scheduled repairs within the E50 and E60 maintenance, more than 100 turbochargers and more than 480 cylinder heads installed on the Сat CG260−16 and MWM TCG 2032 V16 diesel generator units were comprehensively repaired, with a total installed capacity of over 200 MW. All works carried out by means of two active repair shops and professional actions of the staff was carried out within a clearly defined time frame.
