In mid-summer, the commissioning of Relay Protection and Automation, Automated Process Control and Automated Telemetry and Telecommand Control Systems, and Automated Measuring and Information System For Electric Power Fiscal Accounting by PROSOFT-Systems at the 110 kV Liteynaya substation in the Chelyabinsk region was completed.
The substation is designed to supply power to a new metallurgical plant built in Kyshtym by Steel Armor, LLC.
Prosoft-System specialists manufactured and supplied Relay Protection and Automation, Automated Process Control, and energy metering equipment, carried out supervision and adjustment works at the site, and organized a series of training courses for the customer’s personnel.
A total of five Microprocessor-Based Emergency Control Automatics - Relay Protection cabinets were installed at the substation. The devices automatically perform frequency load shedding (FLS), limit voltage drop (AUP), provide main and backup protection of 110-220 kV transformer (breakers control automation, circuit-breaker failure protection, transformer automatic voltage control), and perform other functions.
Metering and telemechanics solutions are implemented using ARIS series controllers. indigenous Russian Redkit SCADA PC and Energosfera SW created by engineers of the Ekaterinburg company are used.
Thus, Prosoft-Systems has prepared a functional and comprehensive solution for the Relay Protection and Automation, Automated Process Control and Automated Telemetry and Telecommand Control Systems, and Automated Measuring and Information System For Electric Power Fiscal Accounting equipment designed to ensure reliable and uninterrupted operation of the Liteynaya substation and, as a result, the stable operation of the new production facility.
